Available Now - FORM Halters
The colors of the Montana palette offer such inspirations, from the crisp white and maroon on the Sego Lily to the earthy green and tan found on the Ponderosa Pines. Cutthroat trout, whitebark pines, bluebird days in the winter, these and more inform the halters.
Handcrafted, functional rope halters inspired by the colors of Montana.
With double-braid, 1/4" polyester cord to offer a good feel and long-lasting durability and wrapped and braided with nano- and micro-cord, these halters come in a variety of stiffnesses. With the adornments on the cheek pieces, you still have a correct and precise feel of your horse from the noseband, thus giving and receiving clear and decisive clues. As in a traditional rope halter, the knots are adjustable to fit your halter correctly to your horse.

Utilizing methods of French whipping, Gaucho knots, Turk's Head Setups and still-to-be-mastered weaves, the halters are a studied compilation of pattern and form. I tie each halter first using a base color, and then add the accents to match the theme.
In the warmer months, my office is outside, and you'll usually find a cat or two, a dog, and horses wandering around as the office help. In the winter, I drag myself inside for nights spent weaving by the wood stove. |
