My work integrates my visual responses to my subject matter, a thoughtful consideration of colors, lines, and strokes to evoke a mood, and a subconscious exploration to reveal the true nature of a being.  I use a level of abstraction to follow lines and rhythm, yet I adhere to a realistic level of drawing.  I am heavily influenced by the work of Barbara Hepworth, Eva Hesse, and Georgia O'Keeffe.  Art connects me to a deep level of existence and experience.
